Before MicroAnalytics participation in the certification process, BUSTOPS clients in the states of Michigan and Washington had contacted MicroAnalytics support technicians to transfer student data from Skyward to BUSTOPS.  A Michigan BUSTOPS user had successfully imported data from Skyward and exported transportation information back to Skyward.  SUPPORT-LINK, MicroAnalytics annual support and update service plan includes setting up such data transfer procedures.  As well, technology departments in larger districts often create their own procedures including customized imports and exports from BUSTOPS following the program documentation.  Once a procedure has been set up, the transfer of information to and from BUSTOPS is simple enough that users don’t need special technical expertise.
