Text Box: Can I get support through e-mail?
 
In the past we have asked you to telephone us for support and we expect that this will remain the most important support link. However, we also recognize that some users find it convenient to put less urgent questions into an e-mail so they can deal with it later. In order to serve your needs we are changing the BUSTOPS Support Link service. Support Link will change from two types of service, to three:
 
1.  Telephone - you call and we will answer your call immediately or, in most cases,
      by the end of the day.
2.  E-mail - you e-mail your less urgent questions and we will undertake to call you
     within 2 business days after receiving your e-mail.
3.  Internet connection - we set up an appointment to connect to your computer.
 
How will the e-mail method work?  Starting immediately, if you e-mail us your question at support@bustops.com we will undertake to call you back within 2 business days to further discuss your needs and answer your question.  We will continue to prioritize inbound calls first and then call people back to answer their e-mail questions as time permits.
 
Why not just e-mail back the answer?  We are unable to e-mail you a response to your question as we need to ask you additional questions to clarify your current settings in the program. We have considered giving support over e-mail but we would have to limit all answers to generic answers that we feel could not meet our customers' needs. In order to offer a high level of service we treat each question individually and consider the special needs and settings in place at each client site.
